HFCN-1600+ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Mini-Circuits HFCN-1600+ is a ceramic LTCC high pass filter designed for applications requiring rejection of lower frequencies while passing signals from 1650 to 5000 MHz. It offers a 50 Ohm impedance and a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 1600 MHz. The filter provides typical insertion loss of 2.0 dB across the full passband and a maximum of 1.3 dB from 1950 to 4000 MHz. Stopband rejection is at least 40 dB at 1090 MHz and 20 dB at 1290 MHz. VSWR is typically 1.5:1 in the passband and 20:1 in the stopband.

The filter is constructed using LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology, providing temperature stability and hermetic sealing. It can handle up to 7W RF input power at 25°C, derated linearly to 3W at 100°C. The operating and storage temperature range is -55°C to 100°C.

The HFCN-1600+ is housed in a compact 4-SMD, No Lead package with case style FV1206, measuring 3.20mm x 1.60mm x 0.94mm. It is designed for surface mount assembly and is supplied on tape and reel (F71). The product marking is G8.
