The HFA30TA60C is a HEXFRED series ultrafast soft recovery diode array from Vishay High Power Products. It consists of two common cathode diodes rated at 600V reverse voltage and 15A continuous forward current per leg (30A total).
Key electrical characteristics include a typical reverse recovery time of 19ns, very low reverse recovery charge (80nC typical), and low peak recovery current (4.0A typical). These features enable reduced switching losses and lower EMI in high-frequency circuits. The diode is designed for use as a companion to IGBTs and MOSFETs in power conversion systems.
Applications include power supplies, inverters, motor drives, and snubber circuits. The device is available in a through-hole TO-220AB package with a common cathode configuration, suitable for industrial and commercial power electronics.
