The HFA25PB60 is a state-of-the-art ultrafast soft recovery diode from Vishay's HEXFRED product line. Designed for use as a companion diode for IGBTs and MOSFETs, it offers a combination of ultrafast recovery, extremely low peak recovery current, and soft recovery characteristics that minimize RFI and EMI. With a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 25A at a case temperature of 100°C, this diode is well-suited for high-frequency power conversion applications. Key electrical specifications include a typical forward voltage of 1.3V at 25A and 25°C, and a maximum forward voltage of 1.7V. The typical reverse recovery time is 23ns, with a maximum of 75ns, and a typical recovery charge of 112nC. The device is packaged in a TO-247AC modified through-hole package with a TO-247-2 case style. It operates over a junction temperature range up to 150°C and has a maximum power dissipation of 151W at 25°C case temperature.
