The HFA06TB120 is an ultrafast soft recovery diode from Vishay's HEXFRED series, rated at 1200 V reverse voltage and 6 A average forward current. It features a typical forward voltage of 2.7 V at 6 A and 25°C, with a maximum of 3.0 V. The device offers a typical reverse recovery time of 26 ns, a typical reverse recovery charge of 116 nC, and a peak recovery current of 4.4 A. It can handle a forward surge current of 80 A and has a junction capacitance of 9 pF at 200 V reverse bias.
The diode is designed for low switching losses, reduced RFI and EMI, and does not exhibit snap-off during recovery, making it suitable for high-frequency power conversion applications. It is a through-hole device packaged in a TO-220AC (TO-220-2) configuration and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
