The HFA04TB60S is a state-of-the-art ultrafast soft recovery diode from Vishay's HEXFRED series. It is rated for 600V reverse voltage and 4A continuous forward current. The diode exhibits a typical forward voltage drop of 1.8V at 4A and 25°C. Its ultrafast recovery is characterized by a typical reverse recovery time of 17ns (42ns maximum) and a very low peak recovery current. The reverse recovery charge is typically 40nC at 125°C. These properties make it suitable for high-frequency switching applications, reducing RFI and EMI and minimizing power losses. The device is designed to be a companion diode for IGBTs and MOSFETs. It is packaged in a surface-mount TO-263-3 (D2PAK) package, with a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The device is RoHS compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
