The HEF4066BP from Philips is a quadruple bilateral analog switch, also known as a transmission gate. It features four independent switches, each with an active HIGH enable input. When enabled, it establishes a low impedance bidirectional path between its input/output terminals (Y/Z). When disabled, it presents a high impedance.
This device exhibits a significantly lower ON resistance compared to the HEF4016B and maintains this resistance relatively constant over the full input signal range. Key electrical characteristics include ON resistance values that vary with supply voltage and switch condition, and very low OFF state leakage current.
The HEF4066BP is supplied in a 14-lead DIL plastic package (SOT27-1). Its design makes it suitable for various analog and digital switching applications where reliable signal path control is required.

At VDD=15V and input voltage from VSS to VDD, the maximum ON resistance is 175 Ω. At VDD=10V it is 245 Ω, and at VDD=5V it is 2500 Ω.
At VDD=15V, the maximum OFF-state leakage current is 200 nA.
The maximum enable input low-level voltage is 1V at VDD=5V, and 2V at VDD=10V and VDD=15V.
Maximum quiescent device current is 7.5 µA at VDD=5V, 15 µA at VDD=10V, and 30 µA at VDD=15V.
At VDD=15V, the maximum input leakage current at the enable pin is 1000 nA.
The HEF4066BP is supplied in a 14-lead plastic DIL package with package code SOT27-1.
Electrical characteristics are specified at VDD=5V, VDD=10V, and VDD=15V.
