The APM Hexseal HE1070 is a specialized sealing boot designed for lever-actuated circuit breakers, providing critical protection in hostile environmental conditions. Manufactured from high-strength, UV-stable silicone, this boot ensures reliability and prolongs the life of electromechanical switches and circuit breakers.
Key features include a temperature range of -103°F to +400°F (-75°C to +204°C) and resistance to splash, salt spray, sunlight, ozone, weather, fungus, dust, and most acids and lubricating oils. It offers IEC IP66/IP68 enclosure protection, sealing out moisture, dust, and other contaminants. The boot is designed for both front-panel and back-panel mounting and is UL recognized (UL 50) and meets MIL-DTL-5423 standards.
With a patented molded trigger for easy actuation and reliable breaker reset, the HE1070 is engineered to withstand over 10,000 actuations. Its hermetic sealing capabilities, combined with a precision-molded sealing rib, eliminate the need for additional gaskets or O-rings. The durable frame is available in corrosion-resistant zinc-chromate or stainless steel for marine environments. This component is ideal for applications in marine, industrial, and military settings where system failures cannot be afforded.
