HCPL-3120

The HCPL-3120 from Broadcom is a gate drive optocoupler specifically designed for high-power applications involving IGBTs and MOSFETs. It provides essential optical isolation to protect control electronics from high common-mode voltages often found in noisy switching environments. This component facilitates floating gate drive voltages and ensures that logic input signals are completely isolated from the high-voltage switching side.
