It is pin-compatible with LS153 and features inputs compatible with standard CMOS outputs, and with pull-up resistors, compatible with LSTTL outputs. The device offers an output drive capability of 10 LSTTL loads and operates over a voltage range of 2V to 6V.

 

Each multiplexer within the HC153 has an active-low Strobe control and a non-inverting output. The Address Inputs select one of four Data Inputs for each multiplexer. This component is suitable for various digital logic applications requiring signal selection and routing.

 

The HC153 is available in SOIC and Plastic packages, supporting surface mount and through-hole mounting types respectively. Its high noise immunity is characteristic of CMOS devices, making it a reliable choice for digital systems.
