The HBL4720C is a Twist-Lock plug from Hubbell's Insulgrip series, designed for 15A 125V AC circuits. It features a NEMA L5-15P configuration with 2 poles and 3 wires grounding. The housing is made of impact and chemical-resistant nylon, and the plug has an individually molded face for each blade configuration. The roomy wiring chamber simplifies installation. Screw terminals accommodate #16 AWG to #8 AWG stranded copper wire only. Cord diameter range is 5.8 mm to 18.3 mm (0.230 in to 0.720 in). Operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C. The plug has a dielectric voltage withstand of 2000V and is certified for current interrupting at full rated current. It is UL 498 listed, CSA C22.2 No.42 certified, and meets Fed. Spec. W-C-596. IP20 moisture resistance. The terminal screws are #8-32 brass, terminal clamp is cold rolled steel nickel plated, and assembly screws are steel nickel plated.
