The Hubbell HBL2813 is an Insulgrip Twist-Lock connector rated for 30 Amps and operating at 120/208V AC in a 3-Phase Wye configuration. This female connector body features a durable nylon housing that provides a secure grip and resistance to impact and chemicals. Its superior cord grip design protects terminations from excess strain, while a clear, funnel-shaped wire entry facilitates ease of termination. The integral dust shield protects the wiring chamber from contaminants.
Constructed with brass contacts and a clear polycarbonate terminal retainer, the HBL2813 is designed for reliability. It accommodates stranded copper wire sizes from #16 AWG to #8 AWG. The connector is certified for current interrupting at full rated current and withstands a minimum dielectric voltage of 2,000V. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to a maximum continuous 75°C.
This connector is listed to UL 498, Fed.Spec. W-C-596, and certified to CSA C22.2 No.42. Its flammability rating is HB or better per UL94 or CSA 22.2 No. 0.6. The HBL2813 is suitable for indoor dry environments unless protected by additional means.
