The Gennum GY4102A is a bipolar, monolithic Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) video switch designed for demanding video applications. It incorporates fast control logic and offers a low differential gain, low differential phase, and low insertion loss.
The device boasts a ±0.1 dB bandwidth of typically 100 MHz into a 10 pF load, with a fast switching time of 20 ns (toggle). It also features a typical switching glitch of less than 30 mV over a 3 ns period and toggle rates up to 50 MHz. The control input is TTL and 5 V CMOS compatible.
Available in 8-pin PDIP and 8-pin SOIC packages, the GY4102A is suitable for applications such as sub-pixel video switching, fast data sampling, modulation, and special effects video switching. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical insertion loss of 0.04 dB at 1 MHz, a typical differential gain of 0.03% at 3.58 MHz, and a typical differential phase of 0.01 degrees at 3.58 MHz. The supply voltage range is ±6.0 V.
