GTLP16617MTDX

The GTLP16617MTDX is a 17-bit registered synchronous bus transceiver that facilitates TTL to GTLP signal level translation. It supports transparent, latched, and clocked modes of data flow, offering a buffered GTLP clock output.

This device provides a high-speed interface between cards operating at TTL logic levels and a backplane operating at GTLP logic levels. GTLP's reduced output swing (<1V), lower input threshold levels, and output edge rate control contribute to high-speed backplane operation by minimizing bus settling time. The GTLP16617MTDX is PVT compensated for consistent performance across process, supply voltage, and temperature variations.

Key features include a bidirectional interface between GTLP and TTL logic levels, edge rate control circuitry to reduce output noise on the GTLP port, and 5V tolerant inputs and outputs on the LVTTL port. It is supplied in a 56-TSSOP package suitable for surface mounting and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

The transceiver offers a current drive of 32mA for both source and sink on the A port. It is designed using Fairchild's advanced CMOS technology and provides power-up/down and power-off high impedance for live insertion.
