The GSOT15-E3-08 is a single-line ESD protection TVS diode from Vishay, designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge and transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a clamping voltage of 28.8V, with a peak pulse current rating of 8A (8/20µs) and peak pulse power of 230W. The device offers a low capacitance of 90pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
This unidirectional Zener-type TVS diode provides robust ESD protection with immunity up to ±30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and meets AEC-Q101 requirements for automotive applications (HBM class H3B >8kV). It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
