The GSOT12-E3-18 is a single-line ESD protection TVS diode from Vishay Dale, designed for general purpose ESD protection applications. It features a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 12 V, a clamping voltage of 26 V, and can handle a peak pulse current of 12 A (8/20 µs) with a peak pulse power rating of 312 W. The device provides ESD immunity of ±30 kV contact discharge and ±30 kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2.
This unidirectional TVS diode has a nominal capacitance of 115 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C (junction temperature). The part is surface mount packaged in a SOT-23-3 (TO-236-3, SC-59) package, allowing compact PCB designs.
It is RoHS3 compliant and lead-free (Pb-free) with tin terminal finish. MSL is level 1 per J-STD-020, with a peak reflow soldering temperature of 260 °C. The part is available in tape and reel packaging with 10,000 pieces per 13" reel.
