The GSOT05-E3-08 is a unidirectional single-line ESD protection TVS diode manufactured by Vishay Dale. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other voltage transients. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a clamping voltage of 16V at a peak pulse current of 30A (8/20µs waveform). It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 480W.
The GSOT05-E3-08 provides ESD immunity per IEC 61000-4-2 with ±30kV contact discharge and ±30kV air discharge. It is also AEC-Q101 qualified with HBM ESD capability exceeding 8kV (class H3B). The diode exhibits a low capacitance of 260pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines.
