The GSIB2580-E3/45 is a single-phase bridge rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for general purpose AC/DC full wave rectification. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800V and an average forward current (IF(AV)) of 25A when mounted on a heatsink (TC=98°C) or 3.5A without heatsink (TA=25°C). The device can handle a surge current (IFSM) of 350A and has an I²t rating of 500 A²s.
The rectifier utilizes a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and offers a high case dielectric strength of 2500V RMS. The forward voltage drop is typically 1.0V maximum at 12.5A. Reverse current is 10µA at 25°C and 350µA at 125°C.
The GSIB2580-E3/45 is housed in a GSIB-5S through-hole package (4-SIP) with matte tin plated leads. It is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C junction temperature. The package meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and is UL recognized (file E54214). Typical applications include switching power supplies, home appliances, office equipment, and industrial automation.
