GP12MSABE

The C&K Components GP12MSABE is a sealed ultraminiature pushbutton switch from the GP Series. It features a compact design ideal for applications where space is limited. This switch is process compatible, withstanding most soldering and washing processes, and is available in thru-hole mounting configurations.

Key specifications include a contact rating of 0.4 VA maximum at 20 V AC or DC, and a mechanical and electrical life of 40,000 make-and-break cycles at full load. The contact resistance is typically below 50 mΩ initial, with an insulation resistance of 10^9 Ω minimum. Dielectric strength is rated at 500 Vrms minimum. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C.

The switch construction utilizes glass-filled nylon 4/6 for the housing and base, which is flame retardant and heat stabilized (UL 94V-0). The actuator is also made from flame-retardant glass-filled nylon 4/6 with an internal o-ring seal. Contacts are copper alloy with gold plate over nickel plate, and terminals are copper alloy with a gold flash over nickel plate. The terminal seal is epoxy/urethane, with all terminals insert molded.

Environmental protection is rated at IP57, providing protection against harmful dust deposits and temporary immersion. The GP12MSABE is RoHS compliant.
