The GP02-40-E3/54 is a 4000V high voltage rectifier diode from Vishay, designed for applications requiring reliable rectification at elevated voltages. It features a cavity-free glass passivated junction (Superectifier structure) for high reliability and low leakage current.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum average forward rectified current of 250 mA, maximum forward voltage drop of 3.0 V at 1 A, and maximum reverse current of 5.0 µA at 25°C. The device can handle peak forward surge currents up to 15 A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave) and has a typical reverse recovery time of 2 µs.
The diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) through-hole package with matte tin plated leads and color band cathode polarity marking. The case is molded epoxy over glass body meeting UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +175°C.
