The GP02-20-E3/54 is a high voltage standard recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Vishay. It is designed for general purpose rectification in applications such as power supplies, inverters, and converters. The diode features a glass passivated junction for high reliability and a superectifier structure.
With a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 2000V and an average forward rectified current of 0.25A, this diode can handle high voltage requirements. It has a maximum forward voltage of 3.0V at 1.0A and a low reverse leakage current of 5.0µA at rated DC blocking voltage. The device can withstand a peak forward surge current of 15A for 8.3ms.
The diode is packaged in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package with molded epoxy over a glass body. It has an operating junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C and a typical thermal resistance of 130°C/W junction to ambient. The leads are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002.
Typical applications include rectification in high voltage power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diodes. The device is RoHS compliant and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
