The GL34A is a standard recovery SMD rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor's GL34 series. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 50V and a maximum average forward rectified current of 0.5A. The forward voltage is less than 1.2V at 0.5A forward current, with a typical reverse recovery time of 1500 ns. The device can handle peak forward surge currents of 8.5/10 A (50/60 Hz half sine-wave) and exhibits a typical junction capacitance of 4 pF.
This diode is designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection in commercial and industrial grade applications. It is housed in a DO-213AA (MiniMELF) surface mount package, compatible with SOD-87. The package weighs approximately 0.04 g and uses UL 94V-0 rated material. Operating and storage junction temperature is 175°C.
The GL34A is compliant with RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals requirements, and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited). It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 units per 7" reel.
