The Schneider Electric GK1EV is a TeSys GK1 series fuse-disconnector with a 3-pole configuration. It is designed for use with 14 x 51 mm fuses of type AM or GG.
This device operates at a rated voltage of 690V AC for the power circuit and 500V AC / 440V DC for the signalling circuit. The rated operational current is 50A for the power circuit and 6A for the signalling circuit. It includes 1 NO early-break contact and 1 C/O contact for upstream device tripping upon blown fuse.
Mounting is facilitated via a support rail in a vertical position (+/- 23°). The fuse-disconnector has an IP20 degree of protection and is suitable for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -50°C to 70°C.
Connections for the power circuit accommodate solid or flexible conductors ranging from 2.5 to 25 mm², with flexible conductors with cable end accepting 2.5 to 16 mm². The recommended tightening torque for power circuit connectors is 2 N.m.
The power circuit is rated for 690 V AC, and the signalling circuit for 500 V AC or 440 V DC.
