The GI756-E3/54 is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications. It features a low forward voltage drop of 0.95V maximum at 6A and a low leakage current of 5 µA at 25°C. The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 400A for 8.3 ms.
The diode is housed in a P600 axial package with void-free molded epoxy body meeting UL 94 V-0 flammability, and has matte tin plated leads for reliable soldering. The operating temperature range is -50°C to 150°C. The part is RoHS compliant and not AEC-Q101 qualified.
