GDTX-S-88-50

The GDTX-S-88-50 is a vertical CAT5 modular jack from Kycon Inc. featuring 8 positions and 8 contacts (8P8C) arranged in a single row. It is fully shielded with an EMI finger to reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, making it suitable for high-speed data applications. The connector is rated for Category 5 performance, supporting Ethernet applications up to 100 MHz.\n\nElectrical specifications include a current rating of 1.5A, voltage rating of 125V DC, insulation resistance of 500 MOhm minimum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000V RMS. Contact resistance is 20 mOhm maximum. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold plating, while the housing is molded from gray PBT thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0.
