GC5016-PB Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Texas Instruments GC5016-PB is an RF Mixer IC with four independently configurable wideband channels, capable of both down-conversion and up-conversion modes. It supports input rates up to 160 MSPS for four channels or 320 MSPS for two channels in double rate mode. The device offers a high SFDR of 115 dB and includes an FIR filter block with up to 256 taps per channel.

Designed for applications such as cellular base transceiver stations (WCDMA, CDMA2000), radar, general filtering, and test and measurement, the GC5016-PB operates with 3.3-V I/O and a 1.8-V core voltage. It features flexible I/O options with 64 parallel input and output bits. The component is housed in a 252-ball, 17-mm PBGA package with a 1-mm pitch and is suitable for surface mount applications.

Power dissipation is less than 1 W for four channels. The GC5016-PB also supports JTAG boundary scan functionality.
