The GBU8J is a single phase bridge rectifier from Diotec Semiconductor, designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification and power supply applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 600V and an average rectified current (IFAV) of 5.6A when free standing with resistive load, or 8.0A when mounted on a 300 cm² heatsink. The device can handle peak forward surge currents of 180A (50 Hz) and 200A (60 Hz), with a forward voltage drop of less than 1.0V at 8A.
The rectifier offers a reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns and an I²t rating of 162 A²s. It operates over a junction temperature range of -50°C to 150°C. The GBU8J is housed in a through-hole GBU package (4-SIP) with UL 94V-0 case material, weighing 3.8 g. It is UL recognized (File E175067) and compliant with RoHS (exemption 7a), REACH, and Conflict Minerals requirements.
