The GBU404 is a single-phase bridge rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, part of the GBU series. It is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward rectified current of 4A at a case temperature of 100°C. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 150A and has a typical forward voltage of 1V at 2A.
The rectifier uses glass passivated die construction for enhanced reliability. It features a maximum peak reverse current of 5µA at 25°C and 50µA at 125°C. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is typically 2.2°C/W when mounted on a heatsink, and the operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
The GBU404 is housed in a molded plastic GBU case with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. It has plated leads with tin finish and is designed for through-hole mounting using a #6 screw. The maximum mounting torque is 5 in-lb (0.565 N·m). The device is RoHS3 compliant and MSL Level 1.
