The GBPC608-E4/51 is a glass passivated single-phase bridge rectifier from Vishay Dale, designed for general purpose AC/DC full wave rectification. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800V and an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 6A when the case temperature is maintained at 50°C. At an ambient temperature of 40°C on a PCB, the current rating derates to 3A. The device can handle a peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 175A for 8.3 ms, and has a rating for fusing (I²t) of 127 A²s. Forward voltage (VF) is a maximum of 1.0V at 3A forward current, and reverse current (IR) is a maximum of 5µA at 25°C. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.

The rectifier is housed in a through-hole GBPC6 package with silver plated leads, suitable for mounting on printed circuit boards. The case meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and has a dielectric strength of 1500V RMS. Maximum mounting torque is 10 cm-kg (8.8 in-lbs), with a recommended torque of 5.7 cm-kg (5 in-lbs). Solder immersion is permitted at 275°C for up to 10 seconds per JESD 22-B106. The E4 suffix indicates RoHS compliance, though this is unverified. Typical applications include power supplies, home appliances, office equipment, and industrial automation.
