The GBPC2506W-E4/51 is a single phase bridge rectifier from Vishay Dale, designed for general purpose AC/DC full wave rectification. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward rectified current of 25A. The device can handle peak forward surge currents up to 300A (8.3 ms sine wave) and has a typical forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 25A. Reverse leakage current is limited to 5 µA at rated voltage and 25°C.
This rectifier is housed in a 4-Square GBPC-W package with wire leads for through-hole mounting. It offers an isolation voltage of 2500V RMS from case to leads and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the device is RoHS compliant (E4 suffix).
Typical applications include power supply units, home appliances, office equipment, and industrial automation systems where reliable bridge rectification is required. The universal 3-way terminals allow snap-on, wire wrap-around, or PCB mounting flexibility.
