The GBPC1506 is a single-phase bridge rectifier from On Semiconductor, part of the GBPC series. It is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 15A at TC=55°C. The forward voltage is a maximum of 1.1V per element at 7.5A. The device can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 300A for 8.3 ms, with an I²t rating of 375 A²s. Total capacitance is typically 180pF per leg.
The rectifier features a glass passivated junction with an integrally molded heatsink for low thermal resistance. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 1.5°C/W with a heatsink. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. Isolation voltage from case to leads is 2500V minimum.
The device is packaged in a 4-Square GBPC case with nickel-plated QC terminals. Mounting torque is 20 in-lbs maximum. The terminals are Pb-free, and the device is UL certified (E258596). MSL rating is 1 (unlimited).
