The GBL06-E3/51 is a glass passivated single-phase bridge rectifier designed for general purpose AC/DC rectification. It is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified output current of 4A when mounted on an aluminum heatsink at Tc=50°C, or 3A on a PCB at Ta=40°C. The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 150A and has an I²t rating of 93 A²s. The forward voltage drop is a maximum of 1.0V at 4A per diode. Reverse current is 5µA at 25°C and 500µA at 125°C. The junction capacitance is typically 40pF. The operating junction and storage temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
The device is housed in a GBL 4-SIP through-hole package with matte tin plated leads. It is RoHS3 compliant (E3 suffix) and UL recognized (file E54214). The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Typical applications include AC/DC bridge rectification in monitors, TVs, printers, SMPS, adapters, and audio equipment.
