The GBJ2006 is a single-phase glass passivated bridge rectifier from SMC Diode Solutions. It is designed for general purpose AC to DC conversion and offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward rectified output current of 20A at 100°C case temperature.
The device features a low forward voltage drop of 1.0V typical at 10A and 1.1V typical at 20A, ensuring efficient operation. It can handle peak forward surge currents up to 240A, making it robust for inrush current conditions.
The GBJ2006 is housed in a 4-ESIP through-hole package, also known as GBJ, with molded plastic case material and plated leads solderable per MIL-STD-202. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a thermal resistance of 22°C/W junction-to-ambient without heatsink.
This bridge rectifier is suitable for power supply input stages, industrial power systems, and other applications requiring reliable rectification. The device is Pb-Free and the plastic material is UL flammability 94V-0 rated.
