The GBJ15M is a glass passivated single-phase bridge rectifier from Good-Ark Semiconductor, part of the GBJ15 series. It is designed for general purpose AC-to-DC full wave rectification in applications such as switching power supplies, home appliances, office equipment, and industrial automation.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum average forward rectified output current of 15A when mounted on a heatsink (T=107°C) or 3.5A without a heatsink (T=25°C). The device has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1000V, a maximum RMS voltage of 700V, and a maximum DC blocking voltage of 1000V. It can handle a peak forward surge current of 200A (8.3ms single half sine-wave) and has a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.0V at 7.5A per leg.
The GBJ15M is housed in a through-hole GBJ(5S) package with a thin single in-line lead style. The epoxy case has a UL-94V-0 flammability rating, and the plated leads are solderable per MIL-STD-750. The device has an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C.
