The Mini-Circuits GALI-39+ is a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) surface mount amplifier. It offers a wide frequency range from DC to 7 GHz, making it suitable for various communication applications including cellular and PCS.
This amplifier provides a typical gain of 20.8 dB at 0.1 GHz, decreasing to 9.8 dB at 10 GHz. It features a typical output power of +10.5 dBm at 1 dB compression at 7 GHz and a noise figure of 2.4 dB at 2 GHz. The device operates with a typical current of 35 mA and a voltage range of 3.1V to 3.9V.
Fabricated using InGaP HBT technology, the GALI-39+ is enclosed in a miniature SOT-89 package. It is internally matched to 50 ohms and designed for excellent heat dissipation with an exposed metal bottom. The amplifier is also protected by US Patent 6,943,629 and is aqueous washable.
Applications include cellular, PCS, and communication receivers and transmitters. It is also suitable for low phase noise applications.
