FZT953TA

The FZT953TA is a PNP silicon planar high-current transistor designed for general-purpose switching and amplification applications. Manufactured by Diodes Incorporated, this device offers a collector-emitter breakdown voltage (VCEO) of 100V and a continuous collector current (IC) rating of 5A, with a peak pulse current (ICM) capability of 10A. The transistor provides a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 100 at IC=2A and VCE=1V, ensuring consistent performance in moderate-power circuits.

With a maximum power dissipation of 3W at 25°C ambient temperature (when mounted on a PCB with 4 square inches of copper), the FZT953TA is suitable for applications requiring efficient heat management.
