The FZT869TA is a 25V NPN high current bipolar junction transistor from Diodes Incorporated designed for applications requiring high continuous collector current up to 7A and peak pulse current up to 20A. It features a very low saturation voltage of typically 110mV at 1A and an on-resistance of 36mΩ typical at 5A, providing low conduction losses. The DC current gain (hFE) is a minimum of 300 at 1A, 1V, ensuring high gain hold up.
The device is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability and is fully RoHS compliant with a lead-free finish. It is also halogen and antimony free, making it a green device. The transistor operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a power dissipation of 3W.
The FZT869TA is supplied in a surface-mount SOT223 package (TO-261-4 equivalent) with a matte tin plated lead finish. It is available on 7-inch reels with 12mm tape width and 1000 units per reel. Moisture sensitivity is Level 1 per J-STD-020.
