The FZT558TA is a PNP bipolar junction transistor designed for high voltage applications. With a collector-emitter breakdown voltage (BVCEO) of -400V and continuous collector current of -200mA, it is suitable for line-operated circuits and high voltage switching. The device offers excellent hFE characteristics up to -100mA and low saturation voltage (VCE(sat) < -200mV at -20mA). It is housed in a robust SOT223 surface mount package with matte tin plated leads, ensuring solderability per MIL-STD-202. The transistor is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1. Thermal characteristics include a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 62.5°C/W (on copper pad) and 41.7°C/W (on 2oz copper FR-4 PCB). The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The complementary NPN type is FZT458. Packaging is in tape and reel with 1000 pieces per reel.
