FXMA2102UMX

The FXMA2102UMX from ON Semiconductor is a high-performance, configurable dual-voltage-supply translator for bidirectional voltage translation. It is intended for use as a voltage translator between I2C-Bus compliant masters and slaves, supporting any two voltage levels from 1.65 V to 5.5 V. The device features automatic direction sense capability on its two ports, eliminating the need for external direction control signals or system GPIO resources when the output enable (OE) pin is tied to VCCA.

Key electrical specifications include a wide operating voltage range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V, a data rate of 37 MHz, and open-drain outputs. The device also functions as an I2C 400 pF buffer/repeater and provides I2C bus isolation. It accommodates Standard-mode and Fast-mode I2C-Bus devices and supports I2C clock stretching and multi-master configurations.

Packaged in an 8-terminal UMLP (1.2 mm x 1.4 mm) or UFQFN (1.6 mm x 1.6 mm), the FXMA2102UMX is suitable for surface mount applications. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (TA). ESD protection exceeds 5 kV HBM and 2 kV CDM.
