FXLS8471QR1

The FXLS8471QR1 from NXP Semiconductors is a compact, low-power, 3-axis linear accelerometer designed for a wide range of applications. It features dynamically selectable acceleration full-scale ranges of ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g, coupled with 14-bit resolution for precise measurements.

This accelerometer supports programmable output data rates from 1.563 Hz to 800 Hz and includes embedded event detection functions such as freefall, motion, transient, vector-magnitude change, pulse, and tap detection. It also offers orientation detection for portrait and landscape modes. The device is equipped with a 192-byte FIFO buffer and supports both I2C and SPI serial digital interfaces.

Designed for efficiency, the FXLS8471QR1 incorporates programmable automatic ODR changes with Auto-Wake and return-to-Sleep functions to conserve power.
