The NXP Semiconductors FXLN8372QR1 is a low-power, 3-axis analog-output accelerometer designed for a variety of sensing applications. It integrates an acceleration sensor with a CMOS signal conditioning ASIC in a compact 3x3x1mm QFN package.
This accelerometer offers selectable acceleration ranges of ±4g or ±16g, catering to different sensitivity needs. The analog outputs for the X, Y, and Z axes are internally compensated for zero-g offset and sensitivity. The output bandwidth can be independently adjusted using external capacitors, with options for high bandwidth (2.7 kHz for XY axes, 600 Hz for Z axis).
With a supply voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V and a typical current consumption of 180 μA, the FXLN8372QR1 is suitable for power-sensitive applications. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and features high shock survivability up to 10,000g.
The device is available in a 12-pin QFN package with a 0.65 mm lead pitch, designed for surface mounting. Its robust design and versatile features make it ideal for applications such as tamper detection, tilt and vibration sensing in white goods, motion sensing in robotics, and activity monitoring.
