The NXP Semiconductors FXLN8361QR1 is a 3-axis, low-power, analog-output accelerometer. It integrates an acceleration sensor with a CMOS signal conditioning ASIC, housed in a 3x3x1mm 12-pin QFN package. The device offers selectable acceleration ranges of ±2g or ±8g, with analog outputs for X, Y, and Z axes internally compensated for zero-g offset and sensitivity.
The output bandwidth can be adjusted using external capacitors, with options for 1.1 kHz (XY axes) and 600 Hz (Z axis). It operates from a supply voltage of 1.71V to 3.6V and consumes a typical current of 180 μA. The accelerometer is designed for surface mounting and features high shock survivability up to 10,000g.
Typical applications include tamper detection, tilt and vibration sensing in white goods, motion sensing in robotics, inclinometers, vibrometers, and activity monitoring in sports and medical devices. The operating temperature range is from –40 °C to +105 °C.
