It allows translation between voltages as high as 3.6V down to 1.1V, with the A port tracking VCCA and the B port tracking VCCB. This device supports translation between common voltage levels including 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V.

 

Key features include non-preferential power-up sequencing, ensuring the device remains in a 3-state condition until both VCCs reach active levels. Outputs also switch to a 3-state if either VCC is at ground, and the device offers power-off protection. The control inputs, Transmit/Receive (T/R) and Output Enable (OE), are referenced to VCCA.

 

This signal translator is housed in a compact 10-lead MicroPak™ (UQFN) package with an exposed pad, measuring 1.6mm x 2.1mm. It is suitable for surface mount applications and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device provides robust ESD protection, exceeding 4kV HBM.
