FXAS21002CQR1

The FXAS21002CQR1 from Freescale Semiconductor is a 3-axis digital angular rate gyroscope designed for yaw, pitch, and roll measurements. It features a 16-bit ADC resolution and configurable full-scale ranges from ±250°/s to ±2000°/s, with a boost function extending it up to ±4000 dps.

This gyroscope operates with a supply voltage ranging from 1.95 V to 3.6 V and an interface supply voltage from 1.62 V to VDD + 0.3 V. It supports output data rates from 12.5 Hz to 800 Hz and includes an integrated low-pass filter. The device is available in a 24-lead QFN package and is guaranteed to operate over an extended temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.

Connectivity is provided via both I2C (Standard and Fast Mode up to 400 kHz) and SPI (up to 2 MHz) interfaces. It also features a 192-byte FIFO buffer, a rate threshold interrupt function, and an integrated self-test function. An 8-bit temperature sensor is also included.
