The FX8C-100S-SV5(92) is a 100-position receptacle connector from Hirose Electric's FX8C series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine applications. It features a 0.6mm pitch and surface mount termination, enabling high-density connections in compact electronic assemblies. The connector has gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with a thickness of 1.00µm, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 0.4A per contact and a voltage rating of 100V AC. Contact resistance is 45mΩ maximum, and insulation resistance is 1000MΩ minimum at 250V DC. The connector can withstand 300V AC for one minute without flashover or insulation breakdown. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +85°C, with storage from -10°C to +60°C.
The insulator is made of PPS material with UL94V-0 flammability rating. The connector includes a board guide feature for alignment during assembly and supports mated stacking heights of 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm. It is rated for a minimum of 50 mating cycles. The SMT termination ensures compatibility with automated assembly processes.
