The Samtec FW-10-05-L-D-380-160-A is a 20-position, 2-row surface mount board-to-board stacker header from the FW series. It features a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch and a 1.27mm row spacing, making it suitable for high-density interconnects. The header has a stacker height of 9.652mm (0.380") and a post height of 4.064mm (0.160").
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 10µ" (0.25µm) gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, with a 50µ" nickel underplating. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP). The operating temperature range is from -55°C to +125°C, supporting lead-free soldering processes. Surface mount lead coplanarity is 0.10mm maximum.
This header includes an alignment pin (indicated by the -A suffix) to aid accurate board placement during assembly. It is designed for board-to-board stacking applications where a reliable, compact connection is required. The FW series mates with Samtec CLP and FLE board-mount connectors or FFSD cable assemblies.
