The connector uses phosphor bronze contacts with 10µ" (0.25µm) gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, housed in a black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulator. It is rated for 3.4A per contact (2 pins powered) and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The insulation material has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.

 

This header is supplied in tape and reel packaging and includes a pick and place pad for automated assembly. The unshrouded design allows for easy mating with compatible Samtec receptacles such as the FFSD series. The push-pull fastening type provides simple insertion and removal.
