The FTSH-108-01-F-D is a high-reliability header strip from Samtec's FTSH series. It is a 16-position, 2-row male pin header with a 1.27mm pitch, designed for board-to-board or cable-to-board applications. The connector features an unshrouded design with a push-pull fastening mechanism.
The header has through-hole termination with solder tails. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold flash on the mating post and matte tin on the tails. The current rating is 3.4A per pin (2 pins powered), and the connector supports data rates up to 8 Gbps. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is UL94 V-0 rated.
This header is suitable for high mating cycle applications and is SET qualified to MIL-DTL-55302. It can be cut to length for custom pin counts. The 1.27mm pitch allows for dense PCB layouts.
The connector is supplied in tubes with a standard package quantity of 57 pieces per tube. Lead style -01 provides a 3.05mm mating length.
