The Samtec FTSH-102-04-L-DV is a high-reliability micro header strip from the FTSH series, featuring 4 positions arranged in 2 rows on a 1.27mm pitch. This unshrouded male pin connector uses a push-pull fastening type and is designed for board-to-board or cable applications. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Electrical performance includes a current rating of 3.4A per contact (2 pins powered) and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The connector supports data rates up to 8 Gbps and meets or exceeds MIL-DTL-55302 testing. It is SET qualified for severe environment testing.
The contact finish is 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold on the mating post and matte tin on the termination tail, over 50 µ" nickel underplating. The surface mount tails have a double vertical (DV) option with a maximum coplanarity of 0.10mm. This part is lead-free solderable and RoHS3 compliant (unverified).
