The FSV340FP is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for surface mount applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 40V and an average forward current (IF(AV)) of 3A. The forward voltage drop is typically 0.52V at 3A, enabling efficient rectification with low power loss. The device offers a fast recovery time of 12.37 ns and a peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 80A, making it suitable for high-surge environments. The junction operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The diode is housed in a compact SOD-123EP package (case 425AC) with a maximum height of 1.0 mm, and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel. It is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free, with UL flammability rating 94V-0 and MSL 1. The larger cathode pad design improves power dissipation.
