The FSV10120V is an ultra-low forward voltage (VF) Schottky rectifier from onsemi, designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 120V and an average rectified forward current of 10A. The device features a typical forward voltage of 0.667V at 5A and 0.748V at 10A (25°C), enabling reduced conduction losses.
This rectifier utilizes Trench Schottky technology, which contributes to its low forward voltage and fast switching characteristics. It has a typical reverse recovery time of 16.7ns, making it suitable for high-frequency applications. The device can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 180A, providing robustness in transient conditions.
The FSV10120V is offered in a compact TO-277 (3-PowerDFN) surface-mount package with a typical height of 1.1mm, saving board space. It has low thermal resistance, with junction-to-ambient thermal resistance as low as 40°C/W when mounted on a maximum land pattern. The device is Pb-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant, meeting environmental standards.
